Shipping
Postage and Handling costs depend on the overall weight of your purchase and your shipping address. When ordering through the online store, the postage and handleing costs will automatically calculated prior to purchase.
Within Australia:
All goods will be shipped via Australia Post Express Parcel Post. To keep shipping costs to a minimum, Sylvia P will only send in a maximum of 3kg Express bags. For example, if an order totals 4kg it will be sent in 2 x 3kg Express Bags rather than one box. This also includes orders for fabrics over 4 meters in length. This substantially reduces the shipping cost for the customer. This also enables us to track the delivery of the items to your nominated shipping address.
Outside Australia:
All goods will be shipped via Australia Post Express Courier International (ECI). This enables us to track the delivery of the items to your nominated shipping address.
Delivery Time
Within Australia:
All in-stock items will be dispatched immediately following receipt of payment and delivery time can take up to 5 working days. Generally, all items in the on-line store are in stock, except for leotards created in the "Catalogue Sleeveless / Long Sleeve Leotards" section of the online store. You will be notified if items that you order are currently out of stock or are for whatever reason not available. In this instance we will contact you directly either by phone or email using your account information held in your account. Please ensure that, at the time of you order these details are correct as we will not be held responsible if your account details being incorrect and we are unable to contact you.
All non-stock items will need to manufacture and therefore delivery time can take up to 4 weeks following receipt of payment. This includes any orders from the "Catalogue Sleeveless / Long Sleeve Leotards" and Custom Made orders.
Post Office Box Delivery: You can nominate a Post Office Box as your shipping address. However, we reserve the right to regard goods delivered to a PO Box as being delivered. We will take no responsibility for goods that are not collected from a PO Box. To make sure that orders being sent to PO Boxes and rural addresses get to their proper destination, please include a physical street address, highway number and street number with your order.

You will be notified if items that you order are currently out of stock or are for whatever reason not available. In this instance we will contact you directly either email using your account information held in your account. Please ensure that, at the time of you order these details are correct as we will not be held responsible for your account details being incorrect.

We accept no responsibility for parcels lost or damaged within the postal system. If you have not received your parcel 4 days after you have received your confirmation delivery email, please notify us immediately so we can pass on your parcels consignment number.
Returns and Exchange
In-stock items:
All in-stock garments may be returned for a size exchange under the following condition:
- The purchaser notifies Sylvia P Sportswear within 7 days of receiving shipment that they would like a size exchange
- The purchaser returns the garment/s to Sylvia P Sportswear at their own cost and supplies Sylvia P Sportswear with an empty Australia Post Express Bag of adequate size with return address written on bag.
- That the garment/s has not been worn and that the garments original label and information tag is still attached
- That the garment/s is new condition and that the garment is not marked, damaged or broken in any way, this is as the discretion of Sylvia P Sportswear
- That the garment/s have not been washed
We will not refund your money.
Non-stock items:
All non-stock items made to your specifications cannot be returned or exchanged. Any order paid in full will be a firm agreement of purchase. Once manufacturing of garments has begun you shall have no right to cancel. In the case of a manufacturing defect, notify us within 1 weeks of receiving shipment and we will determine the course of action that needs to take place.
